You invest a set amount for a set term, and the return is fixed in writing before you commit: 15% a year over two years, or 18% a year over three years. At the end of the term your capital is returned in full, on top of the returns already paid.
The agreement is signed and legally binding, so both the return and the repayment of your capital are fixed before you invest.
